🧩 loophole - Test rules and find blind spots
🧭 What this app does
Loophole helps you test rules, prompts, and legal text by putting them under stress.
You write a set of moral rules in plain language. The app turns them into a formal code. Then it runs two checks:
- Loophole Finder looks for cases that follow the rule but break the intent
- Overreach Finder looks for cases the rule blocks but should allow
This helps you spot weak wording, narrow exceptions, and broad bans before you rely on the rules.
📥 Download and install
- Open the loophole releases page
- Find the latest release
- Download the Windows file for your system
- If the file is in a ZIP archive, extract it
- Double-click the app to run it
If Windows asks for permission, choose Run.
🖥️ System requirements
Loophole runs on a standard Windows PC.
- Operating system: Windows 10 or Windows 11
- Memory: 8 GB RAM or more
- Storage: 500 MB free space
- Internet: Needed for AI-based checks
- Display: 1366 × 768 or higher
For best results, use a recent Windows build and a stable network connection.
🛠️ First-time setup
After you open the app for the first time:
- Enter your rule set or policy text
- Choose a plain-language description of your goal
- Select the type of review you want
- Click the button to start the analysis
If the app asks for a key, paste it in the field shown on screen. If it asks for a model or service setting, use the default value unless your setup guide says otherwise.
